Top quality doesn’t happen by chance

The leading position of the EVS Group in the translation market can be largely attributed to an effective and exacting quality assurance process. It begins with carefully structured discussions with the client, whose detailed requirements regarding the target group, terminology, delivery deadlines and formats etc. determine the structure of the translation process. The IT department makes sure that the documents to be translated are in a suitable format for PC-based translation. The project manager then provides the translators with glossaries, dictionaries, websites or other reference material. At this point, the actual translation process can begin.
Two heads are better than one
For projects involving several translators, an experienced project coordinator checks the terminological and stylistic consistency of the translations and ensures that the delivery schedule is adhered to. Another native speaker then reviews the completed translation, which is then passed on for a final format check prior to its final delivery to the client.
